Regional overview
Region IV Purpose and Geographic Coverage
Louisiana’s Region IV, also known as the Acadiana Region, brings together education, workforce, economic development, business and industry, and community partners to strengthen Career and Technical Education (CTE) across eight parishes:
Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. As well as Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, and Vermilion Charter Academy.
Through regional collaboration, partners work to connect education with the evolving needs of Acadiana’s workforce and economy. These partnerships help strengthen career pathways, expand opportunities for students and educators, increase connections with business and industry, and support programs that prepare learners for high-demand, high-skill careers.

The Region IV CTE Hub serves as a space for partners to share resources, exchange ideas, identify regional needs, and develop collaborative solutions that benefit communities throughout Acadiana. By working together across parish and organizational boundaries, Region IV helps create stronger connections among education, careers, and workforce opportunities throughout the region.
Priority
