The Management & Entrepreneurship pathway prepares students for careers focused on business operations, leadership, administration, and financial management. Students can explore areas such as business administration, accounting, office management, organizational leadership, and entrepreneurship. Through practical coursework, students build communication, decision-making, financial, and management skills that can lead to continued education and careers across businesses, nonprofits, healthcare, government, and other industries.

Accounting Technology

Detail-oriented and interested in the financial side of business? Accounting Technology prepares students with practical skills to help businesses and organizations accurately manage financial information and support day-to-day accounting operations.

Students build a foundation in financial and managerial accounting while developing skills in financial statement preparation, income tax preparation, payroll, business applications, and accounting technology such as QuickBooks. The program also strengthens critical-thinking and analytical skills used to understand and organize financial information. Graduates can pursue entry-level opportunities as accounting clerks, accounting assistants, and other financial or business office support professionals, while current employees can use the program to strengthen their accounting skills.

Administrative Professional Studies

Organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping things run smoothly? Administrative Professional Studies prepares students with the professional, communication, technology, and organizational skills needed to support the day-to-day operations of businesses and organizations.

Students develop skills for coordinating office activities, managing information and communications, supporting teams and leadership, and handling a variety of administrative responsibilities. Graduates can pursue career opportunities as administrative assistants, executive assistants, office managers, and other administrative professionals in businesses, nonprofit organizations, education, government, healthcare, and a wide range of other industries.

Business

Interested in business, management, or building the skills to one day lead an organization of your own? The Business program provides students with a broad foundation in key business concepts while preparing them for career opportunities or continued education.

Students develop knowledge and skills across a variety of business disciplines, gaining an understanding of how organizations operate and make decisions. Graduates can pursue entry-level opportunities in business and management-related fields or transfer to a four-year institution to continue toward a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related area.

Business Administration
